Yes ..... But! The smoke that comes from "green tree" is an adverse effect on you and the food. If your a metal plate instead of the bars of the grid is, the effect varies considerably. Dry Aged "treated" wood. The key to grilling is a good fuel to be dry.

They burn wood to a little smoke comes out, and cook over the coals, and can not go wrong. If you can not wait, wrap in paper and avoid foods that taste bad to eat.
